Probably the cheapest original stop tail, dot neck, 1960 ES-335 TD on the market right now. It is not a refin, the PAF's are still there and it has never had a Bigsby so it can only mean one thing - right, it has had a small headstock fracture repair.
Have a look at the pictures, the headstock did not snap off it just cracked in the usual place and minimal repair was required as you can see from the pics. It is all rock solid now and good, probably for the rest of it's life.
This is a 1960, but with plenty of 1959 appointments such as long guard, brown Lifton case and bonnet knobs. It has repro tuners on it at the moment as I guess the original crumbled and got lost.
Both pickups are nice and hot PAF's, they have had their covers off but have not been rewound. The bridge one has been out of the guitar at some stage and has been spliced back in the neck one has never been out.
It has had a re-fret which is a very decent job and the overall condition is quite excellent really - take a look. There are no playability issues, neck is straight and it is a joy to play on it's medium frets. Neck profile is slim and flat with a wide 43mm nut.
There are no finish issues, no touch ups and it has a cool factory stinger on the headstock.
If you always fancied a dot neck 335 but didn't quite have the resources to make this dream happen then this 335 could well be up your alley...
