Almost like Clapton's but a tad more 'original' than his was. A very nice mid 1963 cherry red Gibson ES-335 TDC with original hard case. Original stop tail model in the most desirable, cherry red, this beauty comes loaded with 1 x PAF pickup and 1 x PAT number pickup.
Very nice condition, a bit of mild wear in places and some finish fading at the bottom rear but nothing too serious at all. All original, not a thing changed including the frets that are in great shape.
All solder is original and intact and the guitar has ZERO issues, just as you like them. No Bigsby holes, no finish issues, no overspray, no changed tuners, original 100% everything..!
Neck is transitional profile that happened during 63 that is somewhat between the skinny 61 type and the fatter 64. Very comfortable to play with a good, low action and a killer sound from the original pickups.
Case is in nice condition too and is the correct black Lifton type with the yellow lining. Handle is intact and all latches work fine.
if you are looking for a cool Clapton type, cherry red '63 335 with zero issues to play or to add to your collection, this could be your lucky day and I would say this is probably the best example out there right now...
