Full 1964 spec Gibson ES-335 TDC with original case which just so happened to leave the Kalamazoo factory in early 1965 so it is a bit cheaper...
It has the full size 1964 neck profile which is like a medium chunky feel. It has the wide 43mm nut, all nickel hardware, PAT number sticker pickups and is probably one of the very last to fitted with the original 'Custom Made' plaque that hides the stop tail studs.
Factory fitted Bigsby and all original with no breaks or repairs anywhere. The dealer who sold it to me claimed it had original frets but I am of the opinion it has had a pretty damm good refret so it does plays superbly well.
Neck is totally to die for as anyone who has played ES's from the years 1964 and 1959 will testify. Both pickups sound beautifully strong and if you buy this, hopefully you will play it as it is just begging for it...
Really strong colour too with a bit of fade but not much. Clean finish, just a few minor dings and dongs but nothing too serious. No neck breaks ever, anywhere. Case is in good condition too, it still has the 'Gibson' logo but one side of where the handle fixes has broken off.
This ones a beaut and a fair bit cheaper than a 1964 would be which is cool because it is exactly the same guitar, just made a few weeks later…
