Gibson / ES-335 TDC / 1971 / Cherry / Guitar For Sale
Stunning custom order, very early 1971 Gibson ES-335 TDC
This guitar is in fantastic condition with its unfaded deep cherry finish. There are no real signs of wear, apart from some mild player wear on the back of the neck. The finish has escaped blemishing and there is little signs of any real dings
The frets are in good condition having had a partial refret up to the 12th fret with perfect sized replacements and plenty of life left in them with some minor signs of wear to the fretboard.
The gold hardware has to have been a custom order as we’ve never seen one like this before. There are signs of minor wear to the gold plating but overall its in very good condition.
Electrically everything looks correct with a pair of up opened Patent Number pickups.
This is a well balanced instrument with a confident, rootsy acoustic tone. The neck is comfortable and familiar with easy access to the upper frets. The humbucking pickups add that classic punch, bite and warmth.
Included with the guitar is its correct hardshell case.
A stunning example of 70s decadence done well, grab this one if you want to turn some heads…
