This is a VERY NICE vintage original 1963 Gibson ES-345, original stop tail, finished in desirable tobacco sunburst with non original hard case that is a total bargain because it has once had another tailpice on it that left 4 small filled holes by the bottom strap button (see photo). It has also has it’s original ABR-1 bridge moved slightly to correct intonation which is now perfect.

Everything else is all original apart from a refret which was a most excellent job. It plays beautifully, sounds like cream with it’s all original, PAT number PAF pickups (missing stickers but have all correct tooling marks etc). All other hardware is original as are all the electrics with undisturbed solder joints and it is even still wired as stereo - a nice, custom made stereo to mono lead adapter is included so you have the choice of using it as interned with 2 x amps or using it like a normal ES-335 with one amp.

There are no headstock cracks or repairs or neck issues anywhere and all finish is original with no overspray. Whatever tailpiece was fitted it left no holes on the top which is nice and guitar was a factory otiginal stop tail. Tailpiece is original and bridge is the original gold ABR-1 with nylon saddles.

It has the classic 1963 neck profile that the re-issues try to emulate and just plays beautifully - I find it difficult to put down. I am sure the new owner will not be disappointed especially at this rather cool price.

There has never been breaks or repairs on this guitar and I can assure you it is a good one with the true vintage vibe. Case looks as if it could be a Gabson ES series case from the later 70’s or early 80’s.
