Gibson / ES-355 / 1960 / Red / Guitar
I'm a roadrunner baby...Somebody did all the things I would do to make a killer 355 player and they did it right. Bigsby is gone and a lightweight correct stoptail is installed and installed properly-right where it belongs. Two killer PAFs-one unopened and the other I cracked open to flip the magnet for mono-I also had to extend the lead to reach the volume pot for mono (stereo is wired to the three way which is closer). Fully converted to 335 spec. Original Grovers, original no wire bridge, vintage correct (but not original) tortoise guard (yes, you've seen it before). Jumbo frets look to have been done recently. Nice brown Gibson case-vintage correct but has a replacement handle. Serial is right on the cusp of 60-61 but the FON is mid 60 and the red is the early watermelon red that everybody loves. Neck is medium-not nearly as thin as most 355's from the era. Stereo harness with Varitone is intact and in the case. Oh, and the roadrunner will come off-it's just reflector tape. - See more at: http://www.gbase.com/gear/gibson-es-355-1960-red-1#sthash.jTQiO2tR.dpuf
