1980 GIBSON ES-335TD Lefty, Tobacco Sunburst, 2HB, TP-6 Fine Tuning Tailpiece, Tobacco Sunburst finish, double bound semi-hollow maple body, bound rosewood fingerboard, block inlays, 22 frets, 2 humbucking pickups. Nice neck with low action, excellent condition and playability with good frets. Factory stock coil tap switch for the humbuckers on the lower cutaway, a feature found between 1977 and 1980.You can cut off one side of the coils to make them sound thinner, more like a single coil. Neck width at the nut is 1+11/16ths inches. The 335s have a big solid piece of wood running down the length of the body inside. Tone for days and a simply superb playing neck. It doesn’t get much better than the ES-335.Just ask Eric C. or Larry C. or anyone else who has made their name with this legendary instrument.
