This is a personal favorite of mine…a genuine Gibson “Historic” Custom Shop ’58 Reissue Flying V Bass that they should have made back in the 50’s. Its Limed Mahogany “TV Yellow” finish is stunning & absolutely gorgeous. Its cool White pickgard & truss rod cover are just like a 50’s Korina V used from their 1983 production run. It was special ordered having a pair of unusual chrome Humbucking pickups w/a factory Schaller type fully adjustable bridge that makes this a very playable machine unlike most of the normal equipped V Basses w/black pickups & that huge useless T’bird bridge assembly. It’s a 1 of a kind sporting its “Custom Shop” logo & inked on serial # on the back of its headstock. 8 lbs. 11 oz; It’s mint w/some case candy in its original Brown Tolex hard case.
