The Frank Zappa Signature "Roxy" SG, released in 2013 by Gibson, is a limited edition guitar paying homage to a classic period in Zappa's career and the album Roxy and Elsewhere.With only 400 units produced, this guitar captures the classic look of the SG Special he used during this time.
Body:
Crafted from solid Honduran Mahogany, the Roxy SG features a beveled design reminiscent of the '61 Reissue style. Its Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish offers a subtle satin sheen, highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
Neck:
The one-piece quartersawn Honduran Mahogany neck is joined to the body at the 22nd fret, providing stability and resonance. Its slim profile and Indian Rosewood fretboard ensure comfortable playability across 22 jumbo frets.
Electronics:
The Roxy SG is equipped with two Super '57 humbuckers featuring AlNiCo II magnets, delivering a versatile range of tones. Its electronics configuration includes a 3-way pickup switch, mini-toggle phase switch, and mini-toggle coil split, offering flexibility in sound shaping.
Hardware:
Chrome hardware, including Grover Rotomatic tuning machines and a Zamak Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, adds to the guitar's durability and functionality. The guitar also features a unique 5-ply "Angel Wing" pickguard and a Maestro tremolo system for expressive pitch modulation.

We ship within the UK by Royal Mail Recorded (small items under 2Kg), TNT or UPS and Worldwide by Royal Mail Airmail Signed For (small under 2Kg) Parcelforce, UPS or FedEx. All shipping prices include expert packing, cartons and packing materials but not insurance which is typically around 2% of items value.
