Word on the street (That's my Starsky and Hutch reference) is that the 2013 Les Paul standard is the comeback Gibson Guitars has been looking for. They should have known not to change the eleven secret herbs and spices in their chicken. Let's think about this; Les Pauls should have a one piece fingerboard and my father told me a long ago, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." This guitar truly has the old spirit in it's soul and as I write this, I swear I'm listening to Gary Moore. You boys know I love me some Gary and this is the one entitled "One Night in Dublin." That's the one where the other "victims" (I mean other former guitarists) are thrown on the stage with Gary only to be shredded like cheap cheddar cheese. Remember that scene in Gladiator where Maximus got shanked by Commodus? "Embrace me my brother", he said. That's exactly what Gary did to those fools and if you go on youtube to watch this ass whuppin' of Biblical proportions, you'll see our boy Gary playing none other than, that's right- a Les Paul. That should be reason enough to buy yourself one. I know, you guys wanna know the weight, neck size and yadda yadda. Well, I'm here to tell you something. This guitar falls in line with our company's standards, so if you need the specs, just shout at me and I'll get it for ya. What I'm trying to say is that being a true guitarist starts with attitude and having the right sword with which to slay the dragon is right before you. Believe me, the attitude will come later and if my theory is correct about a guitar giving you supernatural abilities, then Ray and I are gonna buy us some Air Jordans. White people can jump, can't we?
