Wood saddle & amp; Natural color specification made in '68 !!
Gibson's first square shoulder model, Hummingbird, was released in 1960. The basic specifications of Hummingbird, a body shape, which is one size larger than Martin's dreadnote, include Spruce Top, Honduras Mahogany Side & Amp; Back, Mahogany 1 -piece neck, Top Berry Bridge, Adjustable Saddle, Double -Pick guard engraved with parallron position mark, crown headstock inlay, hakaranda fingerboard, and trademark 'bee bird'. This novel look and dynamic sound received the overwhelming support of the musicians at the time, and the explosive hits have led to the announcement of '62. However, the price of Dove was 35%higher than Hummingbird, so the popular target was concentrated on Hummingbird. Gibson, who had more DOVE's production than the actual sales, added a Dove body to the Hummingbird line, which was unable to catch up with the production, in '62 and '63 on a long scale maple side & AMP; back. There is an anecdote that Hummingbird has been built. It's really a Gibson -like story, but the maple body Hummingbird is now a rare item with a premiere.
This time, Wood Saddle & Amp; Natural color specifications made in '68. 25-1/2 'scale after 1965, 14 ° head angles, pickguards are screwed in the late 1960s.
There is a slight crack in the screws of the pickguard, but there is no noticeable crack. The neck seems to be overlacker, but in terms of age, it is a very beautiful condition.
Regarding the performance side, the iron/fret holding has been adjusted at our shop. The string height is about 2.3 mm on the 12th fret 6 string side, and the performance condition is about 2.0mm on the first string side.
Although it is a wood saddle, it plays a very good sound, and the percussive nuances are outstanding. The light sound unique to the narrow neck is also a great attraction. The best item for stroke. It is a recommended product with good condition.
* 5 -year adjustment guarantee
