Gibson / J-160E / 1964 / Sunburst / Guitar

If you know, then you know. If you don't, well, we'll tell you. THIS is the year to have. This year/model was put on the map by John Lennon (never heard of her). His was found in San Diego and sold for $2.4m. We'll cut you a better deal than that. She's a '64 Gibson J-160E, serial# 202941, in Sunburst with what looks to be a custom full guard. Ready for that Lefty conversion! This piece has just the right amount of voodoo on it. She's made of Mahogany back, sides and neck, with a Spruce top and Rosewood fingerboard. The knobs are upgraded Gibson knobs. The J-160E was Gibson's second attempt at acoustic/electric and it has remained players' go-to guitar from Steve Marriott (factually bigger than Jesus) to Pete Doherty. The guitar is in good, working condition and sports the usual playwear. scratches and weather checking. Our 160E comes with the pictured hardshell case.
