Gibson / J-200 Previously Jonathan Jeremiah Maple-Spruce, / 1969 / Guitar
Gibson J200 1969, previously owned and performed with by Jonathan Jeremiah, we traded the guitar with him and picked it up from the TOPPOP3 show last week after he performed a last time with this guitar on stage in a Duet with Stevie-Ann. This is a guitar that is built anywhere between 1968 and 1970. Already stamped 'made in USA' on the back of the headstock, but with the built-specs of a 1968-69 guitar, meaning no volute(started late 1969) and still with the moustache style bridge. A very cool big Jumbo, with a nice history since Jonathan is gaining worldwide recognition as a singer-songwriter. The big Gibson guitars were always considered cool instruments. And for those who familiar with them they know how inspiring that big full tone, that whoomp in the bass that is typically for a J-200, a distinctive growl that is very satisfactory for singer-songwriters. A J-200 features a big body and shows fancy appointments that make her stand out on any stage. The older they get the better they sound, The typical character of a J-200 makes them somehow perfect for vocal support. The guitar features, all original finish that matured very nicely, and most important, this guitar is really in excellent condition and crack free, some wear is evident, especially on the back, but the playability is excellent with low action (2.3mm on the 12th)and lots of saddle left to lower further, the frets are original and in good shape. Features include a closed moustache bridge with pearl inlay, flame maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and fancy inlays, engraved pickguard, multi-layered bindings, replaced gold Grover imperial tuners. This is a great looking and sounding guitar in splendid condition. The guitar features 645mm (25.4”) scale length and 43mm (1 11/16”) nut width, It's sounds just how you like a J-200 to sound, big, woody and very matured vintage! With a later Gibson case.

The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out.
