Gibson / J-45 / 1953 / Dark Sunburst / Guitar

This wonderful guitar is a 1953 Gibson J-45 & what we live for when finding treasures like this in the guitar business. Its museum quality shows off its original dark sunburst finished top w/light mahogany stained back & sides. Its fairly fat 1 piece mahogany neck is straight as an arrow w/almost no fret wear. Its original no-line Kluson tuners are ultra clean having only new buttons installed. Its small tortoise’gard & bridge are perfect. Its dated w/a “Y” for 1953 on its neck heel inside its sound hole. Its completely crack free w/only slight weather checking here & there. This is the best J-45 from the late 40’s – early 50’s we’ve had in a decade & has tone like the gods both warm & brilliant. It’s an exceptionally clean all original example ready for the pickiest collector. It comes w/a recent hard case.
