A beautiful reissue of one of the worlds most classic and played acoustic guitars. This Custom Shop 1942 J-45 reissue is a cracker and has all of the top features that you would want from a J-45 including an Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top, hand-sprayed historic-style burst and hot hide glue top bracing that keep it looking and more importantly sounding like the holy grail of acoustic guitars that the J-45 banner is.
This particular example is extremely light and as such superbly resonant and sounds great with that awesome Gibson ping. Chords ring perfectly with fantastic note definition and the nice low action makes this guitar a dream to play.
The guitar is in very good, like new condition and 100% ready to go! Only very light marks of play and use are visible.
The guitar comes with its original hard shell case and also comes with all the relevant paper work.
A L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup is installed in the guitar.
