Gibson / Jaguar / 1963 / 3-tone Sunburst / Guitar
Amazing sounding 1963 Fender Jaguar in 3-tone Sunburst finish. For sure one of the best Fender guitars we have in the shop at the moment. The body has been oversprayed with clear coat but the original finish and wear is still visible. The guitar has been played, so there is some serious visible play-wear, the neck feels really good, it's basically like you put on the perfect glove. The guitar still has the famous "flat-pole" pickups which sound fantastic, really warm with big tone and all the desired Pre/CBS features such as the unbound neck with clay-dot inlays. The bridge has been changed for good - it ow comes with the player-friendly tight fitting Matsery bridge. Besides that it's all original. All original electronics with untouched solderjoints, both pots are stamped 304.62.18&30 (18th and 30th week of 1962), the neckstamp dates to 1963 (1 AUG 63 B) and the body date in the trem-cavity reads 10/63. If you are looking for a magical vintage Fender instrument that stands right next to guitars that cost 5 times more - this might be your new guitar! Including orig. Fender tolex case w/orange lining.
