very much like the L-5CES we have now from 1963, it also has a very rare "Prototype" Johnny Smith single coil floating pickup w/its original tortoise
shell lamination inside the pickup filling the pole piece holes (prior to using screws to adjust)...quite a desirable option, clean tortoise'gard,
this is truly near mint being hardly used in its past 50 years, comes with its black gator tolex case.
