This is a really cool & ultra rare early L-12-P Premier which was a fancier version of its cutaway L-7C model w/all gold hardware. Its gorgeous rich Dark Sunburst finish over its carved Spruce top & maple back & side panels is in fabulous shape. Its cool full sized 3 piece mahogany neck w/its 1 11/16″ nut width feels fabulous. Its got a white bound Rosewood fingerboard has double parallelogram inlays. She is still sporting her original “war time” open back Kluson Deluxe tuners w/single ring buttons. Its original tortoise multi laminated pickgard is in great shape too. Its got a clean factory white oval label still n place, this is a very rare model made for only a few years w/a fabulous patina. She’s got killer volume & tone qualities. Other than some slight finish crazing all over, she’s exceptionally clean overall & a 100% original example, she comes w/her original hard case.
