Stunning Gibson L-4-C Archtop Guitar made in Kalamazoo, USA, in 1951
Great overall condition
Based on the FON number on the white sticker in the bass side f hole (A-8614) the guitar was made between July and December 1951

Beautiful inlay of Gibson block logo and Crown on the peghead
Straight mahogany neck topped with a creme bound, floating, rosewood fretboard with split parallellogram inlays
Frets are in good condition and the action is low and comfortable. Full feeling 50ies neck.
Lovely, carved , triple bound, crack-free spruce top with a vibrant original sunburst finish they did so well in the early 1950ies.
Mahogany back (single bound) and sides
Laminated pickguard and lollar pick-up with cool, vintage sound
Original adjustable floating rosewood bridge
Original pointed-end tailpiece with 3 raised parallellograms
Comes with newer hard shell case
