The 2-tone Cremona Sunburst finish is still rich & gorgeous looking, this is a transitional L-5 made only from 1929 thru 1934 having a 16" body, pearl block inlays on its ebony fingerboard that ends by the body with a squared off border compared to the
normal pointed end associated w/all other L-5's, its "snakehead" shaped headstock has a straight "The Gibson" logo along with a beautiful
torch inlay, 6 individual Gold tuners & trapeze tailpiece, its figured maple back, sides & 3 piece neck are simply stunning, its original
triple bound tortoise'gard is starting to show some chrystalizing but is still perfectly intact, it is missing the white binding down the
right side of its fingerboard but being replaced as we speak & will look original, its original oval white label is still perfectly intact,
this is the nicest 16" L-5 we have seen in 10 years, what a fabulous find, these small bodied L-5's are impossible to find in any condition,
this one is quite special, it is exceptionally clean all original condition & plays & sounds incredible, original black hard case.
