Gibson L00 natural (1941) Adirondack-Mahogany, VG
Gibson L-00, FON #4472G, made in 1941, with 14 frets to the body, Adirondack spruce top & Honduras Mahogany back & Sides, a true players guitar, since - despite the very good condition - a few things changed over the years, the sunburst finish disappeared, back and sides seen a razor-thin refin, tuners have changed, the trussrod cover is decorated with a BB-King logo and a B-band pickup has been added. Despite these changes that have been done long ago, this is a wonderful sounding 71 year old L00, and they are getting rarer and rarer!, It seen a neck-reset and the bridge was changed in the process, also the pickguard is a nice replica, but it's old wood and old wood produces that magic old-wood-tone!
Comes with low action and almost full height bone saddle. This guitar is in actually in wonderful condition, almost crack free if it weren't for 2 small seperations in the soundhole no further then the rosette(picture) and one on the upperbout, all repaired professionally. Specs include 44mm (1 3/4 ") nut width , 628mm (24 7/8 ") scale, 59mm (2 5/16") fingerspacing at the saddle, very nice sounding guitar that plays like butter.. Later case.
