1951 Gibson LG-1 the finest original for sale w/a Fire Striped Small'gard ! This is a special LG-1 just in, acquired by its original family members. Its Dark Sunburst finished Spruce top has tons of beautiful grain showing thru. Its dark stained back & sides show off some wonderful grainey mahogany construction. Its 1 piece fat & flamey mahogany neck makes this a step above all other LG's from later periods. She's still sporting her original Kluson 3-on-a-side tuners, its original rectangle shaped bridge & its absolutely lovely original 40's type "striped" tortoise'gard ! Stamped body codes inside on its neck block clearly date this to 1951. Having only a few tiny crackles on its lower bout side panel, this is one of the finest originals we have had in out 31 year history. Truly an exceptionally clean all original Post-War LG-1 in all respects & has never been moded in any way. Excellent overall & comes in its original Tan soft shell case.
