Stunning and great sounding vintage Gibson LG-1 from 1966, in natural finish, serial number 403892.
The instrument is in beautiful original condition with some expected signs of use and dings and superficial scratches in the finish.
It features mahogany back and sides, a spruce top with a nice natural finish, pointed pickguard, upgraded rosewood bridge (original plastic bridge in the case) , comfortable mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, low action, 20 frets, pearl dot inlays, original double line Kluson tuners and creme body bindings. There's a repaired pickguard crack and a little filled-up hole in the top just in front of the bridge.
A ladder braced instrument with a unique, vintage character.
With the installed passive pick-up, it's ideal for the performing singer-songwriter!
