Amazing looking and sounding early Gibson LG-2 from 1946
While the history of most vintage guitars is unknown , this is not the case with this guitar. The previous owner inherited this guitar from his uncle. His uncle was a musician in Augsburg (Germany) and he played alot of music with American soldiers who stayed in Augsburg after WW2. Those soldiers gave this guitar as a present to him.
The guitar is in very good condition, had a neck reset in 2014. Action and playability are very good.
The guitar still has most of its original parts. Only the bridge pins, nut and tuning knobs (only the knobs) are replaced but the original bridgepins, tuning knobs and nut are in the case
Comes with a letter from the previous owner which describes the history of the guitar and a written report of the luthier (2014)
Travels in a non-original hard case in very good condition.
