Clean 1997 Gibson Les Paul 1957 Custom "Black Beauty" Reissue in excellent condition. There is a visible lacquer crack where the headstock joins the neck which we inspected carefully but we see no sign of a headstock repair. It never has been oversprayed or filled. However, we reflected this in the price and it's a chance to get a really great and otherwise clean guitar for a much better price! The first 1957 Custom reissues didn't have a long neck tenon - they were basically regular Customs with mahogany top. This one is already the correct version with a long neck tenon. It features a Mahogany body and two 57 Classic Humbuckers. The lacquer and gold plating is great condition and only shows some minor playwear and some minor dings and dongs. Great sounding and playing earlier Custom Shop model with big neck and tone! It comes with original brown Gibson USA case.
