Here we have another one these super collectable beauties. With a stunning top, flame and fiddleback, it is one of the sweetest examples from this run you’ll ever see. Watch the grain on that rosewood, too! Wow!
Yes, if you’re looking at this guitar you probably already know about this classic Gibson run. Only a few hundred were made with BRW that year, the last time Gibson will EVER use it. So it became an instant collectable. But normally you’d see the “tomato soup” burst a lot in this run, as well as “meh” tops. This is neither the case.
Bone stock, very resonant, with a very balanced weight of 8.88 lbs. A very dark board with amazing grain.
The top is very figured and very tridimensional, a very good example of fiddleback and flame. We dare you find another one this nice!
No fret wear and not a single ding on it. It would be in dead mint condition if it wasn’t for a small chip near the upper strap button (which will be covered when you actually put the strap on), a very small scratch on one of the sides (about 1cm long, very shallow and hard to spot) and very, VERY minor wear on the back -impossible to photograph and only visible when you face it against a strong light source-. Just trying to be as detailed as possible, but guitar is pretty darn close to mint.
