Diese wunderschöne Gibson 25/50 Anniversary fand vor ein paar Tagen den Weg zu uns und hat unsere Herzen im Sturm erobert. Klang, Zustand und Bespielbarkeit sind wirklich hervorragend und das Gewicht hält sich mit 4,7kg im angemessenen Rahmen.
Besonders macht diese 25/50 aber ihre weinrote Lackierung. Nur einige wenige wurden nicht in Tobacco Sunburst lackiert und die wenigen in Weinrot sind mittlerweile gesuchte Sammlerstücke.
Mit diesem Sondermodell feierte Gibson gleich zwei Jubiläen: Das 25 jährige Bestehen des Gibson Les Paul Modells und das 50 jährige Bühnenjubiläum von Les Paul.
Mit "The Most Les" umwarb Gibson bei Einführung der 25/50 Anniversary dieses Jubiläumsmodell. Es sollte eine Gitarre sein, über die die nächsten 25 Jahre gesprochen werden sollte - mit Erfolg. Die 25/50 Anniversary ist wohl eine der coolsten Gitarrem die Gibson während der Norlin-Ära herausgebracht hat. Limitiert auf ca. 3500 Exemplare zwischen den Jahren 1978 und 1980, ausgestattet mit einem aufwendigen Kopfplatteninlay, einem sehr schönen 5-teiligen Ahornhals, Splitt-Block-Griffbrett-Inlays und einem zusätzlichen Mini-Switch grenzt sie sich deutlich von dem damaligen Standardmodellen ab.
Mit der Coil-Tap-Funktion des kleinen Mini-Switches, können insgesamt 6 Sounds abgerufen werden. Und die Gibson Series-VII-Humbucker klingen wirklich klasse.
Der Zustand ist für ihr Alter von gut 34 Jahren wirklich sehr gut. Gebrauchs- und Spielspuren sind natürlich vorhanden. Brüche, Reparaturen oder gar Modifikationen sucht man allerdings vergebens. Die Gibson befindet sich mit Ausnahme der Gurtpins in 100%igem Originalzustand.
Im Lieferumfang ist das originale Gibson-Violin-Case in sehr gutem Zustand enthalten.
