1982 Gibson Les Paul 30th Anniversary Goldtop
These where some of the last Gibsons made in the old Kalamazoo factory. The where made in 3 runs, numbered A, B and C, from whichthe first run is considered to the best run. This guitar is from the A-run featuring low serial number A013! The instrument has been played, so there is some playwear, mostly on the backside of the neck and the front of the body shows some serious "greening", just like on a real 50s vintage guitar. They really did a great job in reissuing a 1957 GT with small headstock, ABR Tune-O-Matic bridge, small binding in cutaway, small 50s style headstock and the allready legendary "Shaw" pickups. Compared to most of these eary GT reissues this model is rather lightweight with aprox. 4,2 Kg! Definately a great sounding Les Paul, allready 34 years old, still made in the old plant, very resonant and great to play. Including original Gibson brown case with pink lining.
