Gibson / Les Paul '58 Reissue VOS / 2007 / Washed Cherry / Guitar
The Gibson Chambered 1958 Les Paul VOS Reissue has all the great features, tone, and looks that made the original '58 Les Paul a classic, but with an ultra-light body! By popular demand, Gibson has incorporated their tonal chambering process in this amazing guitar. This Chambered version of the 1958 Les Paul VOS features a carved maple top, mahogany back, and one-piece mahogany neck with rounded '50's neck profile. And of course all of the appointments are there including single ply cream binding on the top and fingerboard, reissue trapezoid inlays, nickel plated hardware, and an original ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge. The Gibson Burstbucker Pickups used in the Chambered '58 are historically accurate Patent Applied For replicas with an airy tone and unbalanced coils. A medium output Burstbucker 1 is used in the neck position, while the Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position has a slightly hotter output. Both have unpolished magnets and non-potted coils like the original Patent Applied For pickups. The guitar also features accurate component replication with CTS pots and bumble-bee capacitors. This particular guitar, in it's stunning Washed Cherry finish, is in excellent condition, virtually unplayed, and comes in it's original Custom Shop hard case with all the certificates and paperwork.

Welcome to Glenn's Guitars here on Vintage & Rare. After many years in the industry, and having been fortunate enough to have worked in Hanks and The Acoustic Centre - probably London's two foremost acoustic guitar shops - I decided to do my own thing.
I have a passion for used and vintage acoustic guitars; nearly new second hand guitars because they can represent a bargain compared to the price of a new guitar, older and vintage guitars because they tend to have more character and can often become an investment.
You will notice when viewing my stock list my taste in guitars, as I only sell guitars that I genuinely like - and there are certain brands noticeable by their absence. I am a huge fan of older Gibson, Martin and Guild acoustics, but also more boutique brands such as Lowden and Collings.
I will consider part exchange if it makes your desired guitar a little easier to afford. I also offer a guitar finding service, if there's something specific you're looking for.

If you can get to me - I'm based in Enfield, only 30 minutes from London Liverpool Street Station - you can always make an appointment with me and come and try some of the guitars out first.
