Gibson / Les Paul Artisian 2 Pickups / 1981 / Black Finish / Guitar

This is a very special & perhaps 1 of the very last Les Paul Artisians completed in 1981.  These Artisians were a celebratory Les Paul honoring Gibson’s heritage from its earliest days. Most examples were either finished in a Dark Sunburst or in a solid Dark Red. This was ordered in a stunning Black finish all over. Its got fancy hearts & flower pearl inlaid bound ebony fingerboard w/a matching headstock also adorned w/tons of ornate pearl. Other items include a pair of factory “Tar Back” Humbuckers, a set of Gibson/Shaller tuners, its Nashville tun-a-matic stop tailpiece. Lastly its got all Gold hardware. Its original pots are date coded to the 1st & 6th weeks of 1981. Overall she’s exceptionally clean having only slight button marks on its back of body 1 of the very last ones made & would enhance any great Gibson collection. She comes in her original Black tolex/Red Lined hard case.
