This is truly a once in a lifetime instrument and is not for the faint of heart. You are looking at a one owner, uncirculated 1960 Gibson Les Paul “Burst” in it’s original and mostly unfaded “tomato soup” sunburst finish. This guitar has had the same verified owner since the early 1960s and has never been available for sale, until now. The two piece maple top on this example is by no means a monster top but it does have some beautiful 3D flame that looks wonderful on all angles of the guitar. Being a later 1960 Burst this one has a thin 60s neck as well as reflector knobs. Original and un-opened PAF pickups read 7.32K in the bridge and 7.71K in the neck and both retain their entire PAF sticker. Like many, the tips on the original double ring Klusons have shrunken up and broken away. We replaced them with a drop in set of modern Klusons with no modifications to the guitar whatsoever. The original tuners will be included. The switch tip is also replaced. Otherwise this guitar is 100% and will come complete with a non original hardshell case. We offer a 72 hour approval period on all guitar & amplifiers. In the event of a return the customer pays all shipping and insurance costs and any other credit card or Paypal fees associated with the transaction.
