2010 Gibson 1959 Les Paul CC #1 Aged / Melvin Franks / Greeny / Gary Moore incl. original Gibson case. Excellent condition with COA and all Case Candy as it left the factory!
This is the first and one of the most sought after Gibson Les Paul model of their Collectors Choice series they started in 2010. This is a very close model of "Greeny" the 1959 Gibson Les Paul formerly owned by Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore and Fleetwood Mac's guitarist Peter Green. The original "Greeny" is now owned by Kirk Hamet of Metallica. This is serial number #60 of 100 made, and it comes in its original black Gibson hardshell case.
"The Collector's Choice #1 was made with two finish options: the Gary Moore Aged and Signed Edition and the VOS Melvyn Franks Edition. The first 100 made were aged by Tom Murphy and came with a Collector's Choice™ #1 Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by Gary Moore. The subsequent ones were finished using Gibson's VOS process and came with a Collector's Choice #1 Melvyn Franks Certificate of Authenticity.".
