Gibson / Les Paul Collector's Choice #45 Danger Burst Near Mint / Guitar

If you put the Original 1959 #9 0676 in a glass case in a gallery surrounded by fine works of art, it would look completely in place. Its Lemonburst finish reveals a thick, ribbony flame that runs from top to bottom, interrupted only by a "bald spot" beneath the treble side of the tailpiece; a birth mark complementing a thing of rare and undeniable beauty. There's no arguing that this is one intensely attractive Les Paul. But she wasn't made to sit in a case. Like all great guitars, she was made to be played. And it was her tone that won over her current owner. Within a few seconds, he knew this was the guitar for him. One strum on one of its Collector's Choice counterparts and we believe you'll experience that same, immediate and intense attraction. Collector's Choice #45, a detailed replica of original 1959 Les Paul Standard #9 0676, exhibits all the rugged, well-played beauty and tone of a masterpiece built by Gibson over 50 years ago then owned and played in Europe for 40 years until finding its way back to the USA, where an anonymous collector fell in love and made it his own. To this day, it's played, as it should be, on regular gigs throughout the year. The specifications are therefore completely correct. The body and neck are provided with the same curves as the original, resulting in the same feeling. Hide Glue construction. The thin True Historic lacquer is aged by hand and wet sanded to finish the instrument exactly as #9 0676. The Alnico 3 Custom Buckers give the perfect P.A.F. sound, which produces a very clean and dynamic sound that sounds very balanced, and gives a great overdrive sound which is very sensitive to the volume and tone knobs. Gibson even went so far as to use exactly the same plastic formulas for the pickup rings, pickguard and binding used in '59, making this Les Paul one of the most accurate replicas. This Gibson Collector's Choice # 45 Danger Burst is in near mint condition. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
