This is one of those Les Paul Custom’s that all of you guys hated back then but will luv this rare bird. Its original Black finish is in excellent shape other than having a small hole from a tap switch repaired & made to mostly go away. Its a very rare special 3 pickup example w/an original white bound/block inlaid Ebony fingerboard on a 3 piece Mahogany neck w/a volute & a 1 piece body. Its loaded w/a trio of factory pat.# stamped Humbuckers that have a set of 3 crazy rare Boo-Boo Rings that sit under the pickup surround x 3. She’s also still sporting her original multi layered Black pickgard cut for 3 from new. She has her original pots dated sometime in 1971 but the solder is hiding some of its code. Its all gold hardware is quite faded a bit as expected. It’s still sporting its original Kluson “Ribbed Back” tuners. This is a great guitar for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 50 years ! Other than some basic edge wear, she’s really pretty nice shape. She’s all original & perhaps a true 1-off most likely ordered by an avid Humble Pie or Jimmy Page fan, comes w/its edgy original black purple lined hard case.
