This is the most popular Les Paul Custom for the avid collector/player, this Black beauty has a clean all original finish that has a great patina, last of the 3 piece mahog’ny necks, it has had its original “fretless wonder” frets replaced by jumbo frets for obvious reasons of playing far better, its 2 pat.# Humbuckers are quite nice sounding, pots are dated the 20th week of 1973, its ribbed back Kluson tuners seem to work well, its gold hardware is showing some fade as this bad boy has been used & enjoyed, she still has her original tun-a-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, pickgard & witch hat knobs, she is all original & is ready for her next performance, excellent overall & she comes with a nice original black/purple lined hard case.
