Gibson / Les Paul Custom Reissue Cherry Sunburst 2005 / 1968 / Guitar

This Gibson Les Paul Custom 1968 Reissue is made in 2005 and is part of a limited run for Guitar Center. This Les Paul Custom is made in Gibson's Custom Shop, what's in the name right?? All jokes aside, this Les Paul is made out of a pretty standard mahogany body and maple top combination, which features a beautiful pattern that really portraits the unique Cherry Sunburst. You might think that all Customs had no maple top. Well, there were a few that had one in 1968. The back and sides feature a classy cherry finish, which rounds out the classic Les Paul look. The unique feature of GC special run is its Slim Taper neck, which falls in between the 50s and 60s Les Paul neck profile and the result is a very comfortable neck that is just right. Other typical appointments is the bound ebony fretboard with Block inlay. The pickup department is taken care of by the '57 Classic pickups, which is the P.A.F. replica standard that always delivers. The result is astonishing, it gives a very dynamic, balanced and rich tone that sustains for days. Alright, on the contrary, it weighs quite a bit, but you'll have to man up either way if you want to play rock 'n roll, so you might as well do it playing this beast. This Gibson Les Paul Custom '68 Reissue is in very good condition. The top is very clean with light traces of use and playwear. The right side has a group of dings and some small traces. The back has more traces of use including bucklewear, which is fairly shallow.  Specifications Model: Les Paul Custom 1968 Reissue Finish: Cherry Sunburst Body Material: Mahogany Top Material: Maple Lefty No Body Details: Creme binding, multiply purfling, 4-ply pickguard. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
