Gibson / Les Paul Deluxe Special Order / 1974 / Natural Finish / Guitar For Sale
This is one of those early production Les Paul Deluxe’s special ordered w/factory large Humbucker’s that most of you guys never knew were even made. Its original & unfaded Natural finish is in fabulous shape showing some nice grain patterns. Its a very rare special example w/an original white bound trapizoid inlaid fingerboard on a 3 piece Mahogany neck w/a very small volute & a 2 piece body. Its loaded w/a pair of factory “Tar Back” Humbuckers that sound amazing. She’s also still sporting her original multi layered Black pickgard. She has her original pots dated to the 30th week of 1974. From her original double lined Kluson tuners to its tun-a-matic bridge, she’s untouched. This is a great guitar for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 50 years ! Other than a tiny mark here & there, she’s really pretty freakin nice shape. She’s a 100% near mint original & comes w/its original black/purple lined hard case.
