1969 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, Original Case, Excellent & Rare
In 1969 the Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. Serial #886901, It features a mahogany pancake body with and carved maple top, 2 original mini-humbuckers pickups, 3 piece mahogany neck, goldtop finish, pantograph logo, excellent condition, tuners are replaced but without making extra holes, the originals are still with the guitar, including bushings and screws. This is one of the cool and collectible Goldtops, with no "volute" and no "made in the USA" stamp, pots from early 1969, and a very lightweight guitar of only 4.15kg. the neck profile is comparable to a 59 profile in feel, chunky but not fat. The guitar is free cracks, breaks or repairs, sounds and plays amazing, It's been a studio guitar for part of its life and has recorded several albums. It plays and sounds incredible.
Condition: This '69 LP shows some playwear, and buckle rash on the back, there is two small holes on the upperside of each pickup, and there is minimal finish checking, The original frets still have plenty of 'meat'. The original "mini humbucking" pickups are original and so are the pots, we noticed the Nylon saddles have been changed for steel saddles on the original ABR1 bridge. Original lightweight aluminum chrome plated tailpiece. Original "Kluson Deluxe" Tuners function perfectly but we left the Shaller on the guitar, because they simply function better. All plastic parts are original including PU frames, tip, ring, pickguard and knobs. The neck is free of cracks, breaks and repairs and bears the original finish which is still in a very good condition. also the goldtop finish is in a very fine condition considering the 43 years of age. This is a light Les Pauls goldtop and a mighty resonant, and in magical way gets to you with its vintage sound. consignment sale
The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
