Here is a Limited Edition Gibson Les Paul Joe Bonamassa VOS Flametop in Bonamassa Burst finish. Very cool guitar with unique specs, looks and tone designed by the bluesrock master himself. The guitar is all original and in excellent condition with COA and case. The Custom Shop JB is all classic Les Paul; a figured Maple top, 1-piece Mahogany neck, Mahogany body (which has been weight-relieved) and a Rosewood fingerboard. The back of the body and neck is finished in solid black and has been slighly dulled down to VOS while the evenly figured top is finished in ’Bonamassa Burst‘; a rich, dark sunburst which fades to a solid black at the edge. The ’flame‘ in the Maple is at 90 degrees to the seam – always preferable to odd angles in my view – and the effect is subtle rather than showy, giving the guitar a definite air of superiority and class. The nickel parts have been slightly toned down too and all the detail from the original guitar is included; the Gibson logo is lower down the headstock (which is slightly narrower than standard) and the retaining wire that holds the bridge saddles in place on the ABR-1 has been removed (JB says it improves the tone). Other features include Dunlop strap locks, CTS pots and ’bumblebee‘ caps and a brown hardshell case.
