This one is a true “players grade” guitar in every respect of the saying. Here we have a 1950s Gibson Les Paul Junior single cutaway with the original sunburst finish. This one has had a hard life, but is truly a great playing and excellent sounding instrument. At the price point of a new Custom Shop LP JR this one should be a no brainer. At some point in this guitar’s life it suffered a headstock break and was professionally repaired / is secure and stable. At this time it appears that the back of the neck and front / back of the headstock were oversprayed in return covering the serial. The pots date to 1954 (one CentraLab and one IRC) but this tailpiece location is further back which is only seen on ’57 and later Juniors, so the year is up in the air but we assume mid – late 50s. Cool guitar and comes with a 70s Gibson LP case.

We offer a 72 hour approval period on all guitar & amplifiers. In the event of a return the customer pays all shipping and insurance costs and any other credit card or Paypal fees associated with the transaction. With that said, we go to great lengths to ensure with confidence that you are getting the exact item you purchased in the condition and originality described.
