Gibson / Les Paul Pro Cherry Sunburst / 1980 / Guitar

The Les Paul Pro, also known as the Deluxe Pro, was a variation of the Les Paul Deluxe that used P-90 instead of mini humbucker pickups. Nice to know that the Les Paul pro line was first launched in Europe, instead of the US. In 1983 Gibson ended this production line. This pre-owned Gibson Les Paul Pro 1980 features a maple neck with ebony fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and a mahogany body with chrome hardware and gold speed knobs. This guitar is in good condition and still can last a long time. Fretboard and frets are in good condition, the body and finish are marked by the 40-year life. Lots of weather checking on the neck and near the the cut-away, dings, buckle rash, playwear and signs of use all over the guitar and has a non-original and incomplete Tp-6 tailpiece. This LP is distinguished on the one hand by its aged appearance: this guitar must have been a beast on stage, for decades and must have been played with love for player and listener. On the other hand this LP is distinguished by its unique sound. The P-90 stand for their work and as usual: they sound deeply warm and characteristic. This guitar comes in the original chainsaw case which is in very good condition.   Specifications: Body Shape: Les Paul Finish: Cherry Burst Body Material: Mahogany Top Material: Maple Handedness: Right-handed Body Details: Creme pickup caps, Creme body bindings, Creme pickguard, Golden speed-knobs Neck Material: 3-piece maple Neck Profile: Medium C   Ebony Fingerboard Radius: 12" Neck Details: Mother of Pearl trapezoid inlay, creme binding Nutwidth: 43 mm - 1.69" Scale Length: 628 mm - 24.75" Bridge: Chrome tune-o-matic bridge Tailpiece: Chrome TP-6, fine-tuners Pickups: P-90's Tuners: Gibson, 3-in-line Controls: 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way toggle-switch. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
