Gibson / Les Paul SG Junior / 1963 / Cherry / Guitar
1963 Unfaded, near MINT Gibson SG Junior anyone?
The last of the Les Paul Juniors, this guitar is a killer. Its retained its lush, unfaded cherry finish and there are hardly any knocks or marks. The back too is free of any rash or substantial marks.
The neck too is in great shape though the finish has faded. The fretboard shows no real signs of wear and there is some life left in the frets.
The plastics are in great shape. The pickguard is missing a corner as is often the case with these guitars.
The hardware is correct and in good condition with only slight wear visible.
Electronically everything looks correct. All solder joints are untouched. Unfortunately the pot codes are obscured by the original solder.
The guitar comes with a hardshell case.
Sonically this guitar is so much more than a 'student' guitar.. A great rock n roll machine, this guitar just screams. The neck is so comfortable being a classic 1963 profile and reassuringly full, just inviting you to play anywhere.
We love SGs here at ATB Guitars and to have a Junior is always a treat. If your thing is there's horned beasts then you need this one in your collection.
