Nice playing and sounding 1959 spec Gibson Les Paul cherry red Special with the lovely big 1959 neck profile, original finish and original pickups at a bargain price...
So what gives? As I think you can all see, it has had the all too common neck fracture at the heel due to this early design having the neck pickup so close to the edge of the fingerboard. It is a solid repair, but it ain't pretty...
Tuners have been changed to Schallers, bridge has been changed to a Bad Arse bridge for better intonation and pots have been changed (date code of 1988).
Everything else appears good and original including all the finish apart from where the neck repair is of course.
Plays brilliantly well and sounds ace on it's all original 1959 P-90 pickups. There was someone who was emailing me a fair bit about this one, sorry I cannot find your email but hopefully you will see this.
A 2 pickup 1960 Les Paul for this price... Not often you'll see that.
