It's in great shape with minor nicks & dings, finish checking.Super light guitar weighs near 7.00 lbs. Black plastic bell-shaped truss-rod cover with two screws. Closed-back single-line Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with white plastic oval buttons. One-piece mahogany neck with a nice, fat nut width of just under 1 11/16 inches, a standard Gibson scale length of 24 3/4 inches and that great '59 "baseball bat" style profile. Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 22 original jumbo frets and inlaid pearl dot position markers. Solid 'figured' mahogany body with rounded edges. All electronics work and sound great with very strong original P-90 pickups, while all solder joints remains original and unbroken Combination "wrap-over" bar bridge/stud tailpiece. Slab Honduras mahogany body. Good Frets ready to play with Superb sounding !"Ted McCarty explained the re-design as a reaction to player's requests.
