History
The above instrument was purchased in 1966 by its second owner a Dr Franklin Green from Huntingdon Beach, California, on the time of purchase the original owner had stripped the original finish to have it look more 'Burst Like' , i.e. sunburst finish, in 1995 Tom Murphy, respected and iconic Gibson luthier was asked to restore the instrument to its original Factory Gibson Gold Finish , this restoration was Toms First at his newly formed Guitar Preservation company and was done with the detailed accuracy of an original Gibson Nitro Cellulose Finish , i.e. as per a 1950s Factory Original
