Gibson / Les Paul Standard / 1968 / Gold / Guitar
68 Les Pauls seem to be consistently great. I've had a few of them in the past and never had a bad one. This one is an early 68 (501xxx) and shows some wear in the top and back but is in over all very good shape. Big fat neck (1.70+ at the nut and .91" at the first fret. That's big. And hot...8K plus pickups. It had Grovers at some point but now has proper vintage Klusons again and no extra holes. Pot codes are 45th week of 67. It has been re-fretted. Small headstock-one piece body and neck. There is an extra strap button hole but this is typical as the upper strap button was improperly placed at the factory in the very early LP's and everybody moved it. Original case with replaced handle.
