1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard - GoldTop - incl. orig. case
This 1968 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop is in great condition and all original and shows some serious playwear. Previous owner was Stevie D., one of the guitarplayer from the band Buckcherry, who used this guitar extensively on the road. Heavy playwear and lots of weathercheckings give that axe lots of mojo, but it sounds unbelievable and can easiely compete with any 50s Godtop we have in our store. It had Grover tuners installed at one time (no aditional holes have been drilled), but the original Kluson "doublerings" are back on. All 4 pots show 68 dates, two Spraque "black-beauty" caps and all the other features you only find on 68 Pauls, such as 1-piece mahagony-body, 1-piece mahagony neck, small 50s-Style headstock, correct headstock-angle, long neck-tennon. Comes in black SKB hardshell case, which was much safer touring with.
