1969 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Darkback / Humbucker Conversion !
Rare and hard to find, 1969 Les Paul Standard in very good and clean condition and all original except for an early humbucker conversion. Early 69 model, still with a 1-piece body, rare "Dark-back"-version! According to the previous owner, this conversion has been allready done in the early 70s. Back then the Custom was the only LP-model equiped with humbuckers. The pickups used are genuine Gibson "Pat.Nr-Sticker" humbuckers, the rest of the electronic remained untouched with 4 pots dated 137.68.52 and two original "black-beauty" capacitors. Nice chunky neck profil and great playability, the sound is amazing, and really reminds on older Les Pauls. Comes incl. original black hardshell case with purple interior.
