Gibson / Les Paul Standard Ebony Fretboard / 1986 / Black / Guitar

1986 Gibson Les Paul Standard, ebony. Made in USA, serial number 80346525. This guitar is 100% original and comes with the original quality control hang tag and the black molded plastic 'chainsaw' hardshell case with blue interior. This is technically all you need to know about the guitar as it's in near mint condition with no issues whatsoever. But just for fun, below is a little nitty gritty for us guitar lovers:

The protective plastic on both the Tim Shaw PAF pickups and the logo on the case are still present, as are the 'Pat Appl. For TM' stickers on the pickups.

We believe the original strings are still on this guitar and yes, they are in playable condition. The guitar only has wear from sitting in its case and maybe being tried out a few times at the shop that ordered it at the time.

This guitar has a few very rare specs such as an ebony fretboard (!), a two-piece maple top and thin cutaway binding (this was only available on the pre-hustoric Flametop Reissues during this period).

The neck has a nice medium profile and now for one more killer feature of this guitar: it only weighs 4.2kg!
