Some cool Les Paul’s have come from inside the walls of the Gibson Custom Shop. In 1984 the Roland Synth Guitars were the rage so Gibson jumped in to the market w/this outragious Les Paul Studio Custom utilizing the new 24-pin Roland LPK-1 Electronics. It’s a very rare example w/its stunning Sunburst finished white bound Flamey Maple Top w/some beautiful figuring. Its natural mahogany neck, back & sides are quite clean. Its bound dot inlaid ebony feels great. Its loaded w/a set of Tim Shaw Humbuckers for that desirable tone. It was special ordered by a Mr. T.Lermusiaux & used for many years. It has all god hardware & is quite elegant looking. Its got a “Custom Shop Edition” logo on the back of its headstock & now sports a set of Gotoh tuners. These vintage Les Paul’s combine all the craft and musicality with the feature-rich Roland LPK-1electronics package, the same electronics found in the Roland G-303 or G-808 guitars. Every one of these guitars is a stunner, combining the timeless grace of the single cut Les Paul with vintage analog electronics ready for a Roland GR-100, GR-300, GR-700 or GM-70. If you love Les Pauls, you will love these guitars. Its quite original & is excellent overall & comes in a decent hard case.
